Government pledges $452m to overhaul aged care sector following damning royal commission

The federal government will spend almost half a billion dollars on immediate measures to overhaul the aged care sector following the release of a damning royal commission report.

“The royal commission has now, I think, set out a very important roadmap which I think will establish generational change in the country when it comes to aged care,” Prime Minister Scott Morrison said.
