The decoratedclub stalwart still experienced nerves and excitement when pondering his team’s prospects ahead of tonight’s Eastern Goldfields Hockey Association premiership decider against Pegasus.
And although Norths are resounding favourites, with 17 wins from as many games in 2021, Lavery is loath to harbour any thoughts of complacency.
